I had used your online calculator to see if my intended purchase was feasible as I had a wait of 9 months for my new car.

When I initially used your calculators, you had the option of a ‘Low Payment Plan’, but when I came to arranging my finances, this option was no longer available.

After a telephone conversation with your Mr. Steven Titley, he worked out several options for me.

My car arrived at the dealers on Friday 19th March 2010, and was due for my collection on Saturday 27th March 2010. I rang to speak to Steven on the Friday but he was off that day, instead I spoke to someone else (I think it was Caroline, but not 100% sure) who went through the process on Stevens behalf.

I was kept fully informed throughout the day, and accepted for finance later that day.

Despite the short time frame required, Steven and his team ensure that the funds were in place on time, and the car was picked up as required on the 27th.

I have spoken to many of my friends and family members and have recommended that any future car purchases, that they use yourselves for any finance requirements.

They took an age to pass the money to the dealer and when they did it went to the wrong branch!!! Interesting I didn’t use the website much at all I got the details of the person I dealt with (Will Thorley) from a forum which related to the car I was buying, he came highly recommended by other people who have used you to arrange finance and I have since passed the recommendation on to other people. I bought an Audi Q5 earlier this month, financed though Car-finance.net. I dealt with Steve Titley.

Overall, the experience was very positive and I will definitely contact you when I replace the car. Steve was very good at the outset, providing quotes quickly and efficiently. He was happy to amend quotes and to provide quotes on several vehicles. Significantly, the rates quoted were substantially cheaper than any other quotes I received. When I had selected the vehicle, he arranged paperwork etc speedily. He also harried the dealer for information and delivery times and managed the transaction very well.

There was a slight hiccup right at the end of the transaction after I had had my security call. The call itself went well and I was told that everything was in place for me to complete the purchase the following day. I had provided PDF copies of all the necessary documents. Following the call, however, Steve contacted me to say he understood that I had been informed that the paperwork needed to re-executed on trade premises, so I needed to do this to allow funds to flow. This seemed like an odd requirement, but it was stranger still that it had been raised earlier.

Aside from that minor issue, the purchase was very smooth I would whole-heartedly recommend Car-finance.net to friends and family.

I've been impressed with Car-finance.net since my first contact with them.

I found the website very useful, as it allowed me to run finance illustrations, and vary the vehicle, mileage etc online very easily. I didnt find another website that allowed me to do this so easily. I quickly received a call from Steve, who ran me through my options and the facilities available, and a month or so later when I was ready to take a finance package, I found the application process straightforward. Queries and emails were responded to promptly and efficiently.

My advisor (Steve Titley) was fantastic and even helped chase the dealer down to get the car ready for the date I wanted; he's a credit to the organisation. I cant fault the service at all - at no time did I feel pressurised by sales tactics or 'hidden' clauses. The finance package was very competitive, and much better than that offered by the dealer.

My experience with car-finance.net was exemplary, I was recommended to car-finance.net by a friend who had used you before and I was not disappointed. Your staff were extremely friendly and quick to answer any queries and calls. I also had a slight issue with my bank at the time that needed resolving before finance could be agreed and car-finance.net were extremely accommodating to this and in taking my personal circumstances into account rather than just being a credit score number!

The money was transferred extremely quickly, my documents were received on the Monday and the money was with the garage by Tues afternoon. On the commercial side car-finance.net offered extremely competitive rates undercutting any personal loan I found including my existing provider.

The insurance offered was also extremely competitively priced in fact it undercut a purchase my girlfriend had made through a dealer by over £200!

I would to like thank Zac and in particular Will for their help during my purchase, between the bank, the car garage and car-finance.net, car-finance.net was by far the superior organisation!

The overall experience with your company was very good. Will was most friendly and helpful in all matters. There are however some disadvatages I would like to outline when using your services.

1. The car is paid for before it is 'signed off' by the customer as being in acceptable condition. Car dealers are cutting corners on valeting and even allowing cars to be realeased with damage. If a car is paid for before the actual delivery there is very little option than to take the car away and argue about poor preperation later. When using dealer finance you can refuse to sign the finance documents until totally happy.
2.If finance documents are released too soon, cars can be paid for before they are ready. Our particular case was that we were waiting for a cherished reg transfer and if my wife released the documents too soon the money would have been paid while she was still waiting for the car. This again puts the car dealer in the strong position. It can also mean that if the car being traded in is on finance you are paying for 2 cars.
I am happy to say none of the 2 issues above affected us when dealing with you but I do realise that other people may not be quite so switched on about the timing of releasing documents.

So 10 out of 10 for overall service but I did see just a couple of potential disadvatages which are really only down to the process.

I would though have no hesitation in using your services or advising others to do so - but watch for the 2 issues above.

I was very impressed with the service from start to finish. Zac Hattab was fantastic and certainly not your 'typical' Finance Rep which was refreshing. Obviously he was anxious for the business however he genuinely seemed interested and was knowledgeable - plus not at all pushy.I found the entire process very stress-free and efficient. I applied on the Thursday evening and by 11am Friday had everything approved and Zac on the phone. He even went to the trouble of ringing and finding out more information on a couple of suitable vehicles. In contrast, Black Horse took 4 days to call me back and were your typical 'run of the mill' call centre....which was no problem however you certainly have a more personal touch.
Having been in the car trade myself and worked for the likes of Honda, VW and Lexus, I have a bit of previous experience with car finance. Your rates are very competitive however overall it was the service that sold it to me over the interest rate. The whole process couldnt have been better. I used the quote aspect of the website extensively to help decide what to buy. Once decided the process was very efficient and even got a slightly better apr than the quotation. Residual values realistic and the best deal I could find by a long way.

The Mini dealership I was buying the car from thought she was 'pushy', but I did not. I thought Carolyn was professional and efficient, whereas the dealership staff were not. I would have no reservation in recommending your service to my friends. I found the website informative and a bit simple in layout but it achieved the purpose I used it for, which was to compare finance packages and get accurate information to make a decision. It was interesting (to me) to see how Mini, not noted for giving anything away, managed to reduce their finance rates and GAP insurance to match that offered to me by Carolyn. If they had done that in the first place I may have accepted their package! Personally, I thought Carolyn worked harder and was more straight with me which, from my point of view, felt as though she was representing my interests. Mark.

From start to finish, the help, co-operation and general patience has been excellent. I class myself as quite a demanding customer and not at any point did any of the team get annoyed with me, if anything helped further.

I have to say that the whole transaction went as smoothly as was possible. The ability to have funds up front and not after the event gave us a stronger bargaining position. Very similar to an offer from a mortgage company on a house. Admittedly having to apply specifically for a specific vehicle was thought originally strange, however, we quickly realized this was a positive point as just like a mortgage companies surveyor, it became an added security knowing the true worth of a vehicle by how much a finance company would offer in advance.

I came across Car-finance.net from a search on google for alternative sources of finance to Mercedes-Benz who I felt were expensive. I was looking for a PCP agreement intially, which you offered, but quickly established that a hire purchase agreement would be even cheaper.

The website I was directed to from google was easy to understand, very informative about the three different finance options available and flexible and user friendly in allowing me to quickly change the key variables in the calculation of the monthly payment to help me evaluate the most optimum for my circumstances.

Once I had submitted the quote I was impressed with the speed of follow up by text (the next day) asking me to contact Charlene Jackson who would be my personal representative. Once I contacted Charlene she helped me through the application process and informed me in plain english (easy to understand terminology) what I would be expected to sign, the liaison with the car dealership and even what the dealership would expect before they would release the vehicle. All this excellent advice was helpful, re-assuring, and accurate ! I was also impressed with the 'no nonsense' honest, fair and courteous approach and attitude to all aspects of the process. Even when Charlene had to take time off work towards the completion of the process she made sure I understood who I should talk to and how to contact them (Justine). Both Charlene and Justine acted on my behalf contacting the dealership on many occassions to make sure that I could take delivery of my vehicle on the agreed d
ay. Even when the dealership were later than they had agreed in submitting their invoice Charlene went out of her way to ensure that I would still be able to collect my vehicle on the appointed day.

In summary, I could not have asked for better quality service. The finances of the deal were right and the administration of the process appeared as smooth as silk to me. Despite some hitches along the way, none of which were of Charlene or Justine's making I was able to collect my vehicle on the agreed day.

She returned my calls promptly and was able to sort the whole transaction smoothly and without issue. This included working around the fresh transfer of a cherished plate - no problems at all. If only other companies would operate like this! The Jeep dealer I purchased the car from could not even come close to the deal offered when I spoke to them. Amazingly, when I outlined the deal offered by car-finance (and gave them the company name) they were able to match the deal - almost! Too little too late, I told them. In fact I actually complained to their parent company (Sytner UK) about the finance manager not giving me the best deal - and they responded!

Your website was fine. I liked the fact that I could have a play around with the figures to get an idea of the deal that suited me best. Also, that the price quoted on the live call to you was the same as that on the website - no price hike.

To sum up, I am really satisfied to the point that if any of my colleagues at work are looking to finance a car I feel more than happy to point them in the direction car-finance - and in particular will give them Charlene's number.

The website was great as a lead in to be able to get some finance figures without the hassle of having to speak to anyone at this stage.


I then emailed Jigsaw to ask if you would be able to achieve the monthly finance figures and balloon payment that I was really looking for.

I very quickly received a pleasant response from Charlene Jackson providing exactly what I was looking for.

Charlene was excellent all the way through. She seemed very pleasant, approachable, polite, courteous and knowledgeable about the products and FSA.

At every stage she responded effectively and efficiently.

I advised Charlene when I wanted to collect the car which was only 9 days away. She ensured that I received the relevant documentation for sign off; she advised when I needed to get these back in order to give time to sort out payment. She contacted the dealership immediately and spoke to the salesperson to organize the required information from the dealership and also organize payment of the finance to them.

In fact the salesperson at Lookers Saab told me that he was very impressed. He had not dealt with Jigsaw finance before but though that Charlene was very efficient.

The money was paid to the dealership when she advised and the whole process was very slick.

I collected the car as planned and I am very pleased.

Hi, I am very happy to say that dealing with Justine Brickley has been a rather painless experience, there were a couple of hiccups on the way like BMW not having any engine & BMW changing prices and having to be re-quoted because the car was later than expected along with the price change but Justine helped me though.

Justine kept me abreast of the process and the costs etc which put me at ease to know the costs up front as opposed to finding a hidden charge.

All in all I feel everything has run smoothly. Car-Finance had been recommended by a friend and I found the WEBsite very good and easy to use. From memory there are 3 payment options PCP, Finance, another (I can't remember so you'll have to forgive me) each options has it's own charges etc but was confused as to the pitfalls or restrictions for each plan - I'm sure it does list them but it's not easy to find. i.e. the first option allows you to return the car after the agreed term, the last option has to be paid outright with no option to return the car.

As I say, very good job and thanks again to Justine. If you have an online survey or would like to send something to me I would be happy to complete one.

Lots of extras we offered too - GAP insurance, Tyre Insurance, Car Protection etc

I've purchased many vehicles over the past few years and have, in majority of instances, purchased a car and financed through a main dealer....why ? .... because I thought it would be easier. I've wised up, and realise they don't always provide value for money and took the opportunity of looking on the internet. I've previously used websites such as Sainsburys do begin my search, as the search engine and PCP calculator are easy to use, but after a little searching found your website. A little nervous at first, as you hear numerous 'horror' stories when dealing with companies through the net, but after reading the reviews and doing a little research felt comfortable.

Im glad i did. I dealt with Carolyn Gilligan. She was great, handled the transaction from start to finish, was proactive, friendly and communicated throughout the process. It makes a change to actually speak to someone rather than deal with some that is trying to 'hide' behind an email address !

I've already referred Carolyn and your firm to several friends and colleagues.

As for website, only negative was that you have to obtain price of a new vehicle then manually switch to the finance page to enter details....nothing major.

One last point, the email from Carolyn introducing herself after i received several quotes from the system was probably the reason I then enquired further, without the intro, I may not have taken the time to pick up the phone.....I don't know why, perhaps it was because someone had put a name to something that was, to me, a computer programme a few hours earlier ?

I have been very impressed by the service I have received to date from Car-Finance.net, and inparticular Tom Horton (my contact with them). The service is excellent and personal. What Tom promises, happens.

My only recommendation would be to have a few FAQ's on such things as whether the loan can be paid early, or lump sums paid off etc. I'm sure the answers are lurking somewhere but were not immediately obvious. I thought the website was good, but it was not clear why particular forms of finance were limited to a particular period of time, i.e., why the Low Payment Plan wasn't available for more than 4 yrs, if you specified more it defaults to 4 years, but a pop up or explanation stating 4 yrs
was the max. and why would be good. When I revisited the site I could only get a quote for HP and not the LPP, not sure why.

These questions were answered straightaway by Tom, so these are minor quibbles and at this stage I would have no hesitation in recommending Car-Finance.net to others to consider who are in a similar situation to me (Company Car Allowance).

My first port of call for finances is always my bank, but they don't offer the same type of PCP contract that I needed so I googled PCP and came upon literally hundreds of sites (including yours) all offering me fantastic deals.

The majority were immediately discounted as they didn't have a payment calculator, instead wanting me to complete long and tedious forms on the promise of a response at some future time. So, it was the clean, uncluttered site with the calculator that immediately attracted me.

I have always worked on the basis that anybody with a product to sell should be upfront about the cost. It gives me some confidence in their ability to give me what I want. I used your calculator on a number of occasions over a three week period while we were looking at various 'deals' and on each occasion I received a nice friendly email back and even a call from yourself after the second visit.

Overall the service was excellent - staff were friendly and offered good, practical advice. The web site was initially slightly confusing - it could do with being a little more explicit in the way you access parts of it. However it was still vastly better than trying to deal with the dealer's finance company.
